Education: associate degree

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapy Program.
  • Open to both experienced candidates and recent graduates.
  • Current state Physical Therapist license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong operations and leadership skills to develop team members.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to maximize efficiency.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in teaching and using EMR software.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • New graduate PTAs will successfully complete the First Year Experience program
  • Participate in quarterly clinic meetings
  • Complete clinic notes-coding same day/next day
  • Develop-execute Professional Development Plan for self
  • Express thoughts on new clinic hires to promote successful transition
  • Complete compliance training assignments each month
